Hide- One Minute Horror Short

I have been watching a number of short videos and came across this one. Although i am not doing a horror as part of my one minute long video i am impressed with the use of camera work in this and the way it has produced suspense from the 'victims' point of view. Doing this, the audience feels as though they are there..in the moment, feeling what she is feeling.

The main objects used in this are the photo frame, door and the dovet covers. There is music and sound effects to help build the suspense, it also fills in for the fact there is no talking or narrating over the film, it is just body language and facial expressions telling the audience how the girl in the short film feels.

*Changed Idea*

For the minute long video about 'a day in the life of...' we decided to change the theme. It was going to be too complicated for only a minute long short film and feared it was going to give a rushed appearence which is not what we are aiming to do.
Instead we are going to produce a minute long piece with the title 'a day in the life of a student'.

Introduction

This is the start of my A2 media coursework. I will be using this blog to put all my research and material together. Unlike the AS coursework there is no Prelim task but i have to produce a one minute video with the them; ' a day in the life of...'. The main task will be to produce either a music video, movie trailer or a short film.
